KTIS is the name of two Christian radio stations in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota, AM 900 and 98.5 FM. KTIS broadcasts from the campus of Northwestern College in St. Paul, Minnesota. Its FM transmitter is located in Shoreview and its AM transmitter is located in Oakdale, Minnesota. Both KTIS stations are the flagships for the Northwestern College radio network.
KTIS-FM 98.5 concentrates on Contemporary Christian music while the AM station concentrates on biblical content and social family issue talk programming. The FM station is also rebroadcasted on translators (low-power rebroadcasters) in Albert Lea and Mankato as shown on the right.
Skylight Satellite Network KTIS-FM is the flagship staton for the Skylight Satellite Network, a group of Christian stations networked together, sharing programming such as news, the Religion Desk (Christian religion news), and programmed music. Each satellite station maintains its own local identity, and can choose how much programming they obtain from the Skylight network.
